Creating Shadows in Illustrator: A Step-by-Step Guide

How to Give Shadow in Illustrator

Adding shadows in Illustrator can help create depth and dimension in your designs, making them appear more realistic and visually appealing. To add a shadow, select the object you want to apply it to, then go to the “Effect” menu, choose “Stylize,” and select “Drop Shadow.” Adjust the settings to control the shadow's angle, distance, blur, and opacity to achieve the desired effect. Shadows can help emphasize important elements, create a sense of light source, and enhance the overall composition of your artwork.
