How to Convert Text to Shape in Illustrator

Converting text to shapes in Illustrator allows you to create unique and customizable designs by treating text as vector objects. This functionality is useful for creating logos, custom lettering, or intricate illustrations where you need more control over the individual letterforms. By converting text to shapes, you can manipulate each letter individually, apply various effects, and adjust their appearance without restricting yourself to the limitations of traditional text formatting. This gives you more creative freedom and flexibility in your design process.
