8) Knowledge of PMBOK® Guide: Familiarity with the PMBOK® Guide (Project Management Body of Knowledge) and its principles is essential for exam preparation and practical application.
9) Verification of Experience: Detailed timeframes of experience must be outlined; this includes defining roles and responsibilities in each project managed.
10) Continuing Education: After becoming certified, PMPs must earn 60 PDUs (Professional Development Units) every three years to maintain their certification, encouraging ongoing learning.
11) No Criminal Background: Candidates are expected to have a clean professional background with no history of misconduct in a project management context.
12) Exam Readiness: Candidates should self assess their readiness for the PMP exam by taking practice tests or through mock exam sessions provided by training organizations.
